ABOUT SCRUFF OF THE NECK

Scruff of the Neck is a Manchester-based music company with a decade of experience in live music promotion, label management, publishing admin and creative content. Their latest venture is Twitch streaming from their studio space in Manchester, which allows them to stream live shows for the talent they love and help introduce people’s next favourite artist.

WHY MRC WERE CALLED

Scruff of the Neck has grown into a multifaceted business that gives new artists opportunities to showcase their talents. The company went from organising gigs in the back room of a pub to expanding into related fields in the UK and Europe, which presented further business growth in live music promotion, a label arm, publishing admin and creative content opportunities.

(MRC) founder Ray Bush stepped into this consultation. Ray, with over 20 years of experience, has worked with music industry heavyweights and along with the team, is loaded with industry-insider expertise, dedicated to turning data into profits, solutions, and well-informed decisions. Ray’s main focus was to support the growing company, where it was to get an expert opinion on sales analytics and negotiations to achieve the right deal.
